Just had a Choco Hazelnut Pull Apart from Pizza Hut Qatar and was totally not expecting for it to be THIS good
When fast food restaurants introduce desserts to their menu, they are often either overly sweet or boring. However, this one managed to impress even in my first try. For starters, its base consists of the famous Pizza Hut’s pan dough, thus having softness on the inside and golden crispy crust on the outside as usual. However, adding to that a generous amount of chocolate and finishing off the dessert with roasted crunchy hazelnuts gives you an entirely different product.
To be honest, the texture is the best thing about this dessert. When tearing off a slice, you get warmth of the soft dough along with melted chocolate and crunchy hazelnuts all together. This makes for quite a comforting experience compared to other fast food desserts.
What I liked most about it is that it does not come out too sweet. Most of such desserts tend to turn too sugary and heavy after eating them for two bites. However, this one was perfectly balanced, largely thanks to hazelnuts that neutralize sugar sweetness.
I tried it after my pizza thinking I’d only have one slice, but everyone at the table kept reaching for more pieces It is one of those desserts that quickly vanishes after the box is opened.
