We don’t have plans of calling of strike yet – ASUU

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has expressed that it has no plans of closure its present strike except if its requests are met by the national government.

The Chairman of the association, Professor Abiodun Ogunyemi made this known while talking at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) in Rivers State. He communicated that the legislature should initially actualize the report of the NEEDS appraisal it directed in 2012. Ogunyemi, went further to express that its requests were authentic and in light of a legitimate concern for the country. The association chief said understudies would be the significant recipients of the requests and encouraged them to help the requests.
