  • My wife of 20 years, and the mother of my children, just decided to stay in bed for over a week with no reason, no explanation or nothing, and telling me to get away from her. She started this on Saturday last week. She won't get out of bed, she won't do anything and she won't talk to me. The only thing she does is go and take a shower, eat something, and go back to being in bed. She's not been out of the house. She hasn't made nor answered any calls. She won't even talk to the kids.
    I want to know what's wrong, but she gets so pissed off when I get close. Before this started, she was so happy to be coming on leave. She had interesting plans. Even the first two weeks of her leave were exciting. We cooked and celebrated as a family. We all went shopping and went out to have dinner three days before she started acting up. I thought it was a joke, but it's a week and no change. She's rapidly losing weight because she's not even eating well. She doesn't want to talk to anyone nor listen to anything anyone has to stay.
    This should worry me much, but that's my wife. I can't even be myself seeing her like that. I'm so disturbed. I keep trying, but she won't. I've thought about my entire life wondering what it could be. I'm wondering if I'd done something or if it's just her. I'm sincerely disturbed. I've stepped in to make the kids feel okay, but the house is not a home without her presence.
