Job Summary

The Business Developer identifies, evaluates and pursues business opportunities with partners and potential customers.
He coordinates with other departments, to implement Marketing initiatives.
He is also responsible for maintaining close relationship with existing clients, and acquiring & retaining new ones, as he is often the first point of contact a new customer will have with the business when they are seeking information on the services the company provides.
Job Responsibilities

Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Developing quotes and proposals, and presentations for clients.
Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or any related field (Certification will be an added advantage).
Minimum of 2-5 years working experience in Sales, Marketing or any related field, specifically in the Media and brand management industry.
