As Nigeria's tech sector continues to grow and evolve, a new movement is emerging to encourage young women to pursue careers in tech.
Inspired by the success of female tech entrepreneurs, high schools across the country have begun launching coding clubs exclusively for girls. These clubs provide a space for young women to learn about programming, network with industry professionals, and develop their own tech-based projects.
"We're seeing a real shift in how girls perceive their potential in tech," said club leader and software engineer, Nneka Obiefuna.
