Many Twitter users have reacted to the statement made by the former President Goodluck Jonathan concerning his rumoured 2023 presidential ambition.

Few weeks ago some APC governors paid him a visit in his Abuja resident. Ever since then, there have been rumours that Goodluck Jonathan may take over from President Muhammadu Buhari when his tenure comes to an end in 2023.

After attending an event organised by the Commonwealth Community Choir in Abuja, the nation’s capital on Friday, Goodluck Jonathan was flanked by journalist, and one of the questions that he was asked, was if he would be joining the presidential race in the 2023 general elections, Dr Jonathan said, “It is too early to talk about that.”
