Ali Baba recounts his COVID-19 experience after leaving isolation centre

Ace comedian Nigerian Ali Baba has taken to social media to advise people to adhere to safety guidelines against the deadly coronavirus after recently surviving the disease.
In a video on his Instagram page, the comedian said people died in the isolation centre he was taken to when he contracted COVID-19.
According to him, anyone who says coronavirus is not real should not be trusted. He said the virus is real and killing people.
He expressed condolences to friends and families who have lost their loved ones to the deadly disease and warned people to be wary of those claiming that COVID-19 is a scam.

In his words:
“Don’t let anyone tell you it’s a scam. I just came out of isolation. Several people died while I was there. Some of my close friends knew and they were very supportive.
“I thank the Lagos State governor @jidesanwoolu and the commissioner for health, the MD of the COVID CENTRE in YABA, the Doctors, especially Dr Nifemi, who are risking their lives to keep us alive. Thanks to all the nurses.”
The virus which is easily spread has led to the deaths of thousands of people all over the world and celebs have not been excluded.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, took to her Twitter account to share that she took a COVID-19 test and she opened up about how uncomfortable it was.
